Foundation:

Darker skin makeup starts from choosing right foundation for your skin color.  AS dark skins are tends to be oiler, avoid using heavy textured foundations. Go for light weight and textured foundation such as tan or beige or golden color as it covers well. It will also help you to avoid heavy look to the skin.

Concealer

Concealer is one of the important in your make up as it ensures that your skin look perfect without any flaws. Use orange or red based concealer. Choose a concealer that matches majority of your skin color. Finish up with a translucent powder of golden or silver. As the darker skin tends to be oily it is important to apply translucent powder.

Mascara and Eye Shadow

            Dark skinned women generally tend to have brown or hazel eyes. Dark brown mascara and eye pencil or powder goes well with dark skin. Light shades of eye shadow and golden hued eye shadow looks perfect for darker skin.

Lip color

During the day, Apply lip gloss for natural look and in the evening, choose almond red or any shadow that lighten your lip color. Apply small coat of lip color and gloss it over. Don’t forget line your lips before lip color.

              The Cat eye makeup has been around for hundred of years.The cat eye makeup is the easiest of all the eye makeup. It’s just need liquid eye liner and pencil eye liner and mascara. Step 1:

Starting from inner corner of the eye, line  your  top lashes with pencil eye liner. Give a dark three or four coats.Draw the line as close as to the eye lashes.

Step 2:

        Repeat the step 1 for the lower eye lashes. Make sure both top and lower eye liner  touches each other at the corner.

Step 3:

            For the outer corner of the eye, line the outside of the lashes with liquid eye liner. Using a dark black color eye liner will be the best option. As you get end of lashline just make it slightly upwards.

Step 4:

           Finish the cat eye makeup with few coats of mascara or with false lashes.  The traditional cat eye makeup doesnot involves eye shadow. But if you want you can apply eye shadoe. Take a bowl of water and add some nail polish from lower height and you will see how its spread. Keep adding different nail polish to obtain desired design.Using the tooth pick you can design. The easiest way is to pull from center of nail polish.  Once you have the design, just place the nail above it. Don’t remove the nail until it stick on your nail. Pull away the excess nail polish using toothpick. Quickly remove your finger from water and let it dry. Finish with the top coat.

Do not rub hard when you removing vaseline because irritation may occur.

Eye Makeup Remover

            Really I recommend effective eye makeup remover. I suggest Nivea or Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover. Apply eye makeup remover to a cotton ball and ensure it wet enough to remove eye makeup. Appy it to your eye lid and lashes. Leave it for some minute. Swipe it off using washcloth. If You find any trceof makeup then do it again. Using a Q- tip will help to remove eye makeup that is closer to the eye lashes.

As you get closer to the eye crease, switch to the other, slightly lighter dark shadow and blend continuously.
